Digital transformation is redefining the geopolitical security landscape at an unprecedented pace. By 2030, the number of sensors and devices connected to the Internet of Things (IoT) is expected to increase from 21 billion in 2018 to about 125 billion worldwide.
With the expanded use of IoT comes widespread cybersecurity challenges. Private and public sector leaders worldwide routinely cite cybersecurity preparedness as a top priority year after year because the consequences of a cybersecurity attack can be catastrophic.
A key component of cybersecurity preparedness is the successful completion of real-world cybersecurity crisis simulation exercises. Responding to cybersecurity crises requires not only technical knowledge of cyber, but also human emotional intelligence. Mastery of impulse control and strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills are necessary to successfully navigate a cybersecurity crisis.
The real-world crisis simulation exercises are uniquely and expertly designed to reflect the disruption in the geopolitical security landscape and will emphasize key aspects of emotional intelligence.
