Ms. Jordan joined the Global Cyber Alliance (GCA) as its EU Director, responsible for leading GCA’s work in the European Union with EU institutions and GCA partners there. Prior to joining GCA, Ms. Jordan was the Director of the Cyber Statecraft Initiative at the Atlantic Council, where among other duties, she spearheaded research, business development and partner management on global cybersecurity and technology issues with industry, government, EU, and NATO partners.

Ms. Jordan has held positions at NATO, the American Society of International Law, FireEye and Orlie Yaniv Strategies. She has extensive experience in cybersecurity policy development, international law and government affairs. Her work has appeared in numerous journals and media outlets, and she has served as guest lecturer in international politics at American University.

Ms. Jordan has an LL.M in European Law from the University of Groningen Law School, Netherlands, and Masters’ degrees from the Institute des Hautes Études Européennes/Institute of Advanced European Studies in France, and the Matej Bel University School of Law in Slovakia.

Alejandro Fernández-Cernuda Díaz

With an academic background in Linguistics and International Relations, Alejandro Fernández-Cernuda has been working on Cybersecurity for over a decade, mostly on partnership building and project management. His first 'big mission', back in 2008, was to help CaixaBank's CERT join the Steering Committee of FIRST. After that, in 2014, he was put in charge of the European Chapter of APWG. He survived both times.

Now, since March 2019, after becoming the Global Cyber Alliance's new Director of Communications and Marketing, he faces the challenge of bringing this non-profit's message to the EU (he will be working from Brussels as of September) and the rest of the world, especially there where English is not the first language.
